Disclosure

Last updated 24 October 2026. This page says how TideCurve makes money and what it does not take money for.

Advertising

TideCurve does not show advertising today. Display advertising through Google AdSense is the planned way to pay for hosting and upkeep. When it is switched on, this page and the privacy policy change at the same time to say so.

Affiliate links

There are none. Links on TideCurve go to the sources it cites, mainly NOAA pages and NOAA API documentation, and the site earns nothing when you follow them. If an affiliate program is ever joined, this page will say so first, and every such link will be labelled on the page where it appears.

Sponsorship and payments

No agency, harbour, marina, charter, tackle or boating business has paid for, reviewed or approved a page. There are no sponsored posts, paid placements or paid reviews, and nothing is for sale on the site.

Editorial independence

Tide times and heights come only from NOAA CO-OPS, stored as NOAA returned them, with the retrieval date on every page; the methodology page lists the requests. Advertising never decides which stations are covered, what a page says, or how a prediction is described, and no revenue changes what the tables say. TideCurve is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, NOAA.
