Privacy policy

The short version

TideCurve does not ask you for your name, your email address or any account. There is nothing to sign up for. We do not sell data, because we do not collect data that could be sold.

What this site collects directly

Nothing that identifies you. There is no contact form, no login, no newsletter and no analytics script on this site at the time of writing. If analytics are added later, this page will say so before they are switched on.

What your browser stores

This site sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing in your browser beyond what your browser caches normally to display pages.

Advertising

TideCurve does not show advertising today. No AdSense or other ad account is connected to it. If advertising is added later, Google AdSense is the likely provider, and from the moment ads appear:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
• Third parties may also use web beacons or read your IP address to collect information as a result of ads being served here.
• You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices.

Server logs

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare records standard request information such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, for security and to keep the service running. That data is handled under Cloudflare's privacy policy and is not something TideCurve reads or stores separately.

Links to other sites

Pages here link out to the sources the data came from, such as government agencies, universities and manufacturers. Those sites have their own privacy policies and this one does not cover them.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
